Re Establish A Wingback Desk Chair
Wingback desk chair – If you own an old back chair and love everything about it except the fabric, you can get it again, and make it look simply stunning. Restoring a back seat may sound difficult, but with these step-by-step guide, you will be enjoying your chair again in no time.
The first step is to remove the existing structure of the chair. Turn the chair over, and you should see a number of staples that hold the fabric to the chair. Take a flathead screwdriver and pull the staples out, releasing material from the bottom of the chair. Now slowly remove the fabric by pulling it straight up. Slip it over the sides as arms and off the wingback desk chair. Try not to tear or rip pieces of fabric, as these will be used to create your new pattern to the chair.

After having decided on and buy your new fabric choices, stretch fabric out on a flat surface. Now pin the old pieces to the new fabric with right sides together. When all the pieces have been attached to the new structure, cut them out, tracing along pieces with your scissors. Be sure to cut them exactly the same size as pinned-on pieces. Next sew the front of the wing to the front of the wingback desk chair with right sides together.
