That old office chair may be worn and torn the fabric is dirty and stained, but re-cover the pads can give a new look for very little money. You can even add a patterned fabric for added interest to the single office chair. Use a cloth upholstery high strength to return to the deck, as it is rugged and wears better. This project will take a couple of hours and require few tools and little experience in upholstery.

Remove the screws from the back, where the chair rest pad is fixed to the structure of the rolling chair. Measure the seat cushions removed from office chair.  Transfer the measurements for the cushions of the chair on the fabric. Cut the fabric with scissors to these dimensions. Unroll the batting and cut to the same size as the fabric. Place the piece of batting on the backing office chair pad. Fold the fabric at the edges of the back pad and turn on the cushion. Continue stapling the fabric and batting from one corner to the other, pulling the fabric and batting firmly so that it does not protrude.
