How To Clean White Marble Countertops

It is particularly important that you clean white marble countertops regularly, because marble is especially susceptible to stains and gnaw through a variety of common liquids such as juice fruit and coffee.  Mix your cleaning solution. Fill the bowl about three quarters with warm water. Then add half a cap of chlorine. This solution will raise and clarify dirt stains, without damaging your marble. Clean the marble with the solution. You can just dip a cloth in the solution, wring and then clean the countertop. Rinse your cloth often to ensure you do not spread the dirt accumulated on the counter.

Treat stains with baking soda and salt. Once you have finished cleaning the white marble countertops you may notice some stained areas on the surface. Apply a paste of baking soda and salt on them. You can mix about a tablespoon each of your hand, using a damp toothbrush.

This will form a paste. Use a toothbrush to apply the paste on the stain and then let stand for 15 minutes. Remove the paste with the brush. Clean white marble countertops again with the bleach solution. Once all the stains are gone, you can reapply the solution to make sure that there are no lines of your treatment against stains.
