How To Build Trex Decking

Trex decking – is a brand of decking boards that are made from recycled materials. These come in a variety of styles, colors and textures, and are not subject to the same deterioration as tables wooden deck. Panels can be purchased with a groove on each side for use with special beams to keep the clips, which eliminates the need for screw or nail heads exposed. Trex decking does not manufacture frame components. Set the required number of posts in concrete blocks or pillow. Use a level to make sure the posts are straight and level line to ensure that the tops are level with each other.

Attach rim joists to the outside of the posts with 1/2 inch screws, using at least two screws for each connection for trex decking. Drill holes through the joist and after a bit of half-inch, then insert the bolts. Place washers on the threaded ends of the screws and then use a wrench to tighten the bolts, tighten these nuts until washers sink into the wood. Use a drill and a Phillips for screw brackets to joists edge front and rear, 16-inch intervals.
